Dr. Emily offers you her expertise in childhood development, brain function, and the brain’s response to, and recovery from, injury. This will help you and other important people in your child’s life (including their teachers) understand your child’s particular needs and how to support continued development. This can be a tough road to travel alone, and we are here to coach you along the way.
Dr. Emily’s practice is targeted at working with infants and children who are at-risk of, or have, developmental delays or complex medical issues. She specializes in child development through the early high school years. Dr. Emily also has experience working with gifted children. She sees older adolescents on a case-by-case basis.
Many of her patients have complex medical conditions, including but not limited to:
- Cerebral palsy
- Strokes/intraventricular hemorrhage

- Brain tumors/leukemia
- Brain malformations
- Children who have delays in development, difficulties at school, or behavioral problems for which a cause has not been identified
